Adventure
For the Sport or Adventure Adrenalin traveller, South Africa is the place to play. We have selected the following options to feature, for anything else that interests you please enquire.

Cage diving great white sharks

South Africa was one of the first to protect this amazing apex predator. There are several licensed operators with whom it is possible to view the Great White Shark from the safety of a cage; it is an unforgettable experience to be face to face with the star of the movie “Jaws”. It can be done from Cape Town or in Mossel Bay.

Viewing natural predation, breaching great white sharks

False Bay Cape Town is one of the few places in the world that Great White Sharks can be seen regularly feeding on seals. It is a natural occurrence with no decoys, bait or chum involved. Generally it is only during the winter months that breaching occurs in the bay.

Combat helicopter

Fly a simulated combat mission in the Huey helicopter, a full on, doors off, adrenalin pumping experience.

Scenic helicopter
See the Cape Peninsular from the air on a scenic helicopter flight from the waterfront.

Side car adventures
Do it different, take a Cape Point or wine lands tour in a vintage world war two side car, and enjoy the feel of the wind in your face and the un-obscured views

Hiking

South Africa is a hikers paradise, there are far too many trails to list so we have chosen to highlight our favourite Cape Town hike. Two night, Three Day fully catered, guided and ported the Hoerikwaggo Trail over Table Mountain is a wonderful experience. The route begins at the Waterfront with an informative boat ride around the harbour and proceeds through the historical parts of the mother city to end the first day at the old “wash houses”, now converted into very comfortable accommodation.

Day 2 starts upward where the route heads up and onto Table Mountain via the Cable Car. (If the cable car is closed it is a walk up) The guides keep hikers informed about the vegetation and any other points of historical of cultural interest. The second night is at the national parks lodge, once again extremely comfortable and with great food.

Day 3 meanders around the reservoir area and after lunch one descends to Kirstenbosch gardens, one of the worlds most beautiful botanical gardens. Price from ZAR1900 per person sharing all inclusive.

Whale Watching
From July to September there are both Southern right and humpback whales to be seen of much of the South African Coast.
