The Kruger park is run by South African National Parks with basic accommodation as well as a few concessions given to private luxury lodges. Most safari lodges are situated in private, wildlife rich, safari reserves bordering the vast Kruger Park. This is ideal as you can combine the luxuries of a private lodge as well as the safari drives with knowledgeable game rangers in the game rich private reserve with the famous Kruger Park.
